7 years and up in need of Baptism, or family is becoming Catholic and in need of specialized evangelization
Since our Sacramental Preparation classes are family based, we hope that this will meet the needs of Children and Young People and their families. We will make arrangements to meet these needs as they arise.
For Adults who have not been Baptized
This series of classes and testimonies are intended to help those who do not yet know Jesus Christ and are preparing for life in Christ through Baptism. Generally, Adults and families preparing for Baptism are received into the church during the Easter Vigil Mass. Breaking open of the Scriptures will be offered at the 9:30 am Mass.
For Adults who have already been Baptized
This series of classes for those coming into communion with the Catholic Church from other Christian Faith Communities or those Baptized Catholics who have not completed the Sacraments of Initiation (First Communion and Confirmation) is ordered to join the Catholic Community. When Candidates and their Sponsors discern readiness for the receptions of the Sacraments, they will be scheduled at the earliest convenience. The Pentecost Vigil is also a proper time for the Confirmation and receiving of the Eucharist for those who have already been Baptized.
Discernment is ongoing as to how to best provide these programs. Please watch the bulletin and website for updates.
