St. Mary's Cathedral has an assortment of organizations for its members to become involved within the parish. Below is a list of some of the ministries offered here at St. Mary's. You can also refer to the sub-menu for more organizations and ministries.
Deaf Ministry Mission:
To learn about Jesus: Provide interpreters for RCIA and all other Faith Formation classes as needed for our Deaf Community.
To listen like Jesus: Outreach to Catholic Deaf at other parishes in the Amarillo Diocese. Help our Catholic Deaf community relate better to the Catholic hearing community.
To pray like Jesus: Provide interpreters for ACTS and other retreats and prayer groups.
To serve like Jesus: Provide transportation for those in our Deaf Community who do not drive. Visit the Deaf at the hospital or those who are shut-in.
To teach like Jesus: Help our Deaf teach their children about our Catholic faith and teach the hearing community more about the Deaf by offering Sign Language and Deaf Awareness classes.
To live like Jesus: Provide interpreters for the Deaf at weekly Mass, Holy Days, special Masses and organized monthly signed Deaf Masses. In addition, provide communication between our Deaf and hearing communities.
The noon Mass is interpreted every Sunday, and other Masses (Holy Days, etc.) are interpreted as needed or requested. In addition, special Masses such as weddings are interpreted as requested.

Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, committed to making their community a better place while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; supporting your local Catholic Church while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life. For more information, please call the church office.
The Young At Heart is a St. Mary's Seniors (age 60 and older) that meet monthly for food, fun, and fellowship. We meet in the Reception Room of the Msgr. Our activities include delicious food, spiritual programs, speakers relevant to our needs, and groups to come in and entertain us. In addition, we have a monthly newsletter to update us on parish activities that are of interest to us. For more information, please call the church office.
